 How does Botox work?

Botox smooths wrinkles in the face and alleviates other conditions as well by blocking certain chemical signals from nerves that cause muscle contraction. Botox is used to temporarily relax these muscles, especially those tense muscles in the face that lead to the creation of wrinkles over time.

Normally, it only takes a few days for botox injections to take effect. We use a fine needle to inject Bbotox into the affected area. You can generally expect to see the results of this procedure within a week of the injection.
